New Releases: Week of August 22nd

This week features the release of Mafia II, the sequel to 2002′s well-reviewed mobster game Mafia. Although the game has received mixed reviews so far, the consensus seems to be that it’s an average to above average game. Judging from the demo, other than a few framerate hitches and screen tearing issues, the game can be fun. If you’re looking for something to scratch that mobster itch, Mafia II seems like the game for you. Also releasing this week is Shank and the XBLA version of Scott Pilgrim vs the world. Other than that, not many releases stick out this week.
